Mel's Tire Shop is a locally owned and operated tire service center founded in 1978. The shop was originally located in Chicago and owned by Melvin Sr., but then moved to Florence, which is now owned by Melvin Jr. 

Mel's Tire Shop is the opposite of a franchised auto repair shop with standard sinage, and hours.
